From September 15, 2024, stamp station 6 of the hiking treasures of the Wild Homeland will be located at the shelter.Out of gratitude for the liberation from "Fronzins", a monument was erected on the vineyard by the residents of Rühle in honor and memory of the last ruling Duke Wilhelm of Brunswick and Lüneburg in 1908-1909. Located high up on the hill, it not only offers exciting insights into history, but also a fantastic view of the surrounding area. Ideal for a short break to enjoy the view of the Weser!Tour tip: Hiking car park near Rühle: hiking trail "On the vineyard to Duke Wilhelm" (Rü 2)

Instead of the 30 meters of altitude given by Komoot, make it more like 300 meters

One of the most beautiful stamping points in the Weser Valley. Fabulous view of the Weser Valley with Rühle, the rock face of the Mühlenberg nature reserve, Pegestorf, Dölme and Steinmühle as well as the Ottenstein plateau.
