The footbridge has been accessible since 4 October 2024.
With its record length of 710 metres, the new bridge will allow you to cross Avenue Léopold III safely and smoothly. This significantly reduces the travel time between Harenweg in Machelen and Sint-Stevens-Woluwestraat in Zaventem. Did you know why the surface of the bridge is yellow? It is a special coating that reduces the risk of slipping in bad weather.
