If you want to visit the Gaisalm, you can do so either from Pertisau or from Achenkirch. In both cases, a beautifully laid out path, which is quite narrow in places but offers fantastic views of Lake Achensee, leads to the alpine pasture. Surefootedness and a head for heights are necessary to enjoy the hike. Alternatively, you can also get to the alpine pasture by boat, as there is a jetty right in front of the alpine pasture.
