Tips

  • Sebastian Kowalke

The Dalfazer waterfall is by far the highest waterfall on the Achensee. Over 60 meters, the water plunges here in the depth. Especially after the snowmelt in the early summer, this is an impressive nature experience.

From a wooden viewing platform you have a great view of the waterfall. Adrenalin junkies climb the via ferrata right next to the waterfall through the rock face.

Halfway to the Dalfazalm you can take a short arch to the waterfall. In addition to the waterfall, there is a climbing tour up the rock. There is a viewing platform at the waterfall.

Great waterfall with platform as a lookout point. Liebenänke invite you to linger. A bit off the beaten track but a detour there is very worthwhile.

A viewing platform with cozy wooden loungers invites you to take a break with a view of the Dalfazer waterfall. Next to the waterfall is a via ferrata, which you can climb with appropriate knowledge and equipment. From there the waterfall looks beautiful too.

Definitely a worthwhile hiking destination on Lake Achensee. Also recommended for families with children, as it is not so strenuous.

From the parking at the end of the trails, two paths lead to the viewing platform. A normal trail on stone paths and an adventurous, where you usually on larger stones and on roots or just on forest floor runs! There is a horn on the platform where you can hold your ear. Try it and see what happens! ;)

At around 60 meters, it is the highest waterfall in the Rofan Mountains.
You can watch the rock climbers from a viewing platform.
