Inaugurated in September 2024, the mosaic will surely be a new highlight for Tromsø. The city has a long mosaic culture. For the gateway to the Arctic Ocean, the city engaged one of the oldest artists, 90-year-old Marit Bockelie, as well as young, up-and-coming artists, who together hand-set the stones.
