These three slabs are about 1 meter high.
I've included photos here with my bicycle next to them for comparison.

Presumably, the three stones broke out of the shell limestone in a single block at this location. Possibly along with a fallen tree.
Interestingly, they are essentially vertical, while the original rock layers next to them are more horizontal.
Either the block was accidentally placed vertically when it was broken out, or amateur geologists propped it upright to examine it. They may have split the stone twice with tools (this is easy, shell limestone is rather soft).
Another possibility is that the vertical block of rock tilted apart due to weathering: Rainwater from the autumn penetrates the cracks and freezes in the winter, literally blowing the layers apart.

I saw the three stone slabs on my tour. I wonder how this structure came into being?
