In the village of Plan De Gralba above Selva, I took the Piz Seteur cable car with my MTB and then changed to the Gran Paradiso chairlift to the Stone City further up. This was the first time I had pushed my MTB into a gondola or hooked it into my own MTB gondola in the chairlift - I must have been stupid 🤣. For a complete circuit of the Sella with an e-bike, a cable car is not necessary - but it is a nice change 😉. The Sellaronda can be done completely with the help of a cable car and with almost no significant uphill journeys. Because the mountain stations on the Pordoi Pass or Gardena Pass are far above the passes, there are breathtaking views and downhill trails into the valleys. If you don't want to concentrate on the descents through daring trails and boarding the next cable car and instead want to enjoy the magnificent landscape and the wonderful panoramic views, you will have fun on the pass roads.
