From the parking lot in Krün over the bike path to Klais and from there on the road to Elmau. From there on the Königsweg above the Elmauer Bach to the Wettersteinalm, above which the mountain range of the Törlspitze and Dreitorspitze towers impressively. From the Wettersteinalm the Königsweg climbs - in this section quite roughly - over the northern shoulder of the Schachentorkopf and around it to the Königshaus am Schachen below the Frauenalpl summit. The stone pine population in this area is unique in the entire Bavarian mountains and well worth seeing.

Cycled from the Sylvensteinsee car park to Achenkirch. From there on the easy-to-drive Fortstrasse up to the Köglalm. The short, steep and rough passage further up to the Köglsattel, thank God, mastered with Ebike🙃. The trail down to the Schönjochalm is easy to drive. Then not on the direct route to Steinberg but after a hairpin through the rugged side valleys of the Steinberger Ache past imposing rock faces and several narrow gaps to the Mühlbach hiking car park. From there back up to Steinberg and then on to Sylvensteinsee. Today on the Bavaria Tyrolensis cycle path, which leads south around the lake, back to. This section of the long-distance cycle path is a beautiful MTB route in itself. But as a part of a long-distance cycle route, this is far too long a detour. Likewise the section in Achenwald, which leads deep into the mountain forest. A cheek, because there was EU funding for this - existing mountain roads were simply rededicated.

Today I did a new tour: via Greiling to the Gaissach and up the Sulzkopf and Rechelkopf to the Sigrizalm. Then back down into the Gaissach valley to Marienstein and back via Greiling.

Late summer MTB tour from the Steinsäge via the Wackersberg plague chapel to the Lehenbauernalm and on the steep ascent (thanks to the e-bike without pushing) to the Schnoaderalm below the Zwiesel. From there, a short detour on foot to the Zwiesel summit with a wonderful view. Down over the Blomberg-Bergstrasse.
