Erentrudis Chapel, Göttweig Abbey from 1072
The foundations of the free-standing chapel in the southwest of the abbey courtyard probably date back to the Erentrudis Church, consecrated in 1072, and the structure dates back to the 12th century, but today it is Gothic. It was the center of the nunnery until 1557, was later called the Sebastian Chapel, was converted and built after it was deconsecrated, was freed and reworked in 1910/11, re-consecrated, and was last renovated in 2003.
