The Dokkumer Ee is a canal in Friesland between the cities of Leeuwarden and Dokkum. It crosses the municipalities of Leeuwarden and Noardeast-Fryslân. The river is an important shipping route in the north of Friesland. It connects Leeuwarden to the Wadden Sea through the Lauwersmeer.
