The train station, which was extensively modernized in 2008, is located in the north of the city. This is where the main line from Cheb to Karlovy Vary is connected. In my experience, things are a little more “relaxed” at Czech train stations. The German TÜV would probably have a lot to do here. But that's exactly what's cool and it shows: it works without a thousand rules. In any case, the train ride itself worked really well on my Czech bikepacking trip. DB can learn a thing or two from the Czech Railways app.
