The Deraa church, which got its name from the river of the same name Aa, was built around 1200 and rebuilt several times in the following centuries. The tower had to be rebuilt among others after a collapse. The church is rarely usable as such. This building can be rented for various occasions more at translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=nl&u=https://blgroningen.nl/locaties/deraakerk&prev=search

The Aa-kerk, also called the A-kerk, is a church building in the center of the city of Groningen. It is next to the Martinikerk the most important preserved medieval church building in the city. Other medieval churches are the Pelstergasthuiskerk and the Pepergasthuiskerk. Demolished medieval church buildings in the city are for example the Sint-Walburgkerk and the Broerkerk. Seen from the fish market, the church is perched on the Akerkhof, high above the Korenbeurs (grain market).
