Umgebindehäuser - the construction style shaped by the Franks, usually a wooden part and a plastered part, which was used as a stable, upper floor like a half-timbered house... Very common here in Upper Lusatia - the loom was usually housed in the Umgebinde part. But there are also houses where the entire ground floor was designed as Umgebinde.. i.e. without a stable, then the owners had 2 looms...
