Route: You start at the harbor near the Alte Liebe (Old Love) pier, cycle along the Grimmershörn Bay to the Kugelbake (a landmark navigational beacon), and continue along the beach promenades of Döse and Duhnen to Sahlenburg.

Cuxhaven Coastal Heaths: A vast nature reserve with well-maintained paths. Here, with a bit of luck, you can observe wild horses (Koniks) or Heck cattle. The Duhner Heide visitor platform is a great starting point.
Wernerwald: Unique on the North Sea coast is this forest, which extends right to the Wadden Sea. A shady cycle path leads you from Sahlenburg towards Holte-Spangen.
