Archaeological finds show that there was once a village on the way shortly after the Luschdorfhof. There is no evidence why this settlement was abandoned. This settlement has probably disappeared due to fire, natural forces, diseases such as the plague or rural exodus. A legend claims that the Hussites destroyed the village during the siege of Stolpen Castle in 1429. But it is very likely that neither the Hussites nor the soldiers in the Thirty Years' War (1618-48) found a settlement here, because in a document from 1388 this place was described as "the desert Ludwigsdorf".
