The Lozze Church and the nearby Sacello are located on Mount Lozze at an altitude of 1906m along the path that leads to Mount Ortigara on the Asiago Sette Comuni plateau and was built by the Alpine troops of the Verona battalion after the battle of June 1917. It was subsequently rebuilt in 1927 by the ANA section of Verona and that of the Altopiani. On the side of the church, using a cave in the rock, a sacello was built in 1930 to contain the human remains of the soldiers (but also materials from the time) which are still found today in the area of the battle of Ortigara.
