Old Swede is the name of a foundling, which was recovered in March 2016 near the federal highway 214. The stone is one of the largest boulders in northwestern Lower Saxony and was therefore classified by the Landesdamt for Mining, Energy and Geology as a protected natural monument. It could have reached the district of Vechta from Scandinavia around 150,000 to 200,000 years ago due to the Ice Age. (Source: Wikipedia)

The old Swede is now some time in the center of Kroge and fits there like cover on pot.
