Very beautiful church - clearly one of the top 5 highlights of Florence. You have to buy tickets - and then you should plan 2-4 hours to be able to look at everything in peace.
The church is huge inside, with many important tombs. There are also various extensions, an entire monastery, and also cellars worth seeing.
