Highly recommended – a great route and much less traffic than on the Stelvio Pass. If you set off early, you might have the road entirely to yourself and arrive at the Stelvio Pass early enough to fully enjoy the descent to Prato or Bormio. The advice about warm clothing is absolutely correct; anyone heading above 2,000 meters in altitude should be mindful of the considerably lower temperatures there, even in midsummer.
