The Knüll Nature Park was established in 2021. As the "little brother" of the Vogelberg, the Knüll low mountain range, with its highest point at Eisenberg (636 meters), primarily comprises closed, extensive forest areas and idyllic stream valleys. A beaver family has dammed the Idra River here just before it enters the reservoir.
