Once upon a time, in the slope below this trail, there was a 3 m deep "wolf pit" for catching wolves. The hole was camouflaged with branches. In the middle, the bait was placed, which was supposed to lure the wolves into the trap. The village elders tell from generation to generation - always with a bit of Schadenfreude - that once, instead of a wolf, the unpopular teacher fell into the hole.
