The church was built on the site of a former smaller church and was completed in 1825. It is a hall-like building with a polygonal altar and walls with stone pillars. The twenty-meter-long, 14-meter-wide and nine-meter-high building was provided with stronger walls in 1859, and the fencing was renewed at the same time.
