Information:
A scenic circular hiking trail leads around the mountain below the wooded summit. Access to the summit is via an unmarked but signposted path from Luchau.
The Luchberg is a 576.2 m (2,200 ft) high basalt cone. It was formed approximately 30 million years ago during the great Tertiary period of volcanism, when the deep interior of Europe became highly active.
