The Teufelskanzel is one of the three best-known vantage points around Glashütte, alongside the Bastei and Pilz. A hike, and linking them all at the same time is a good idea. Other beautiful vantage points are in the direction of Erben at the Glashütte Tower or Planscheibe, which climbing rocks can be accessed from above, as well as on the Erben plateau with a wide view towards Geising. Also recommended is a climb to the Ochsenkopf.
