View of the Saale Valley and Leuchtenburg from Rothensteiner Bastei

A beautiful vantage point and resting place to linger. You have a great view over the Saale valley to the Leuchtenburg.
A trip here is highly recommended. Below the Rothenstein bastion are the rock caves with a place to rest. You should definitely check it out, very interesting.

Definitely worth a visit. The far-reaching view of the Leuchtenburg and the lovingly created seating invite you.
A little below the bastion (about 5 minutes' walk away) there are still small caves that are ideal for children to discover.
