View from Luisenhöhe

The Luisenhöhe is the highest point in the area. From the cross there is a wonderful panoramic view over the Mainbogen to the Steigerwald, the Haßberge, Heiligenthal, the Vogelsburg and the Rhön. The new display boards installed in 2016, which rise in a circle from the meadow at the foot of the cross, should always give all visitors to Luisenhöhe the correct orientation. On the boards 44 arrows all around point the geographically precisely defined cardinal direction of German locations.

From the Luisenhöhe you have a beautiful view. Either you enjoy the panorama from this bench or you make smart at the information board on the nearby cross what you can see in the distance.
