Tips
The one thousand meter long and up to two hundred meter wide Elbe island with its natural tree population has been a nature reserve since 1924. Upstream of the island we have a view of the slopes of the Borsberg - at 361 meters it is the second highest mountain in the area of the city of Dresden - and further upstream we see Söbrigen in the distance.
