The climbing barranco Arico Arriba and Arico Abajo is probably the most popular of all of Tenerife. Here you can expect weeks of climbing fun from easy routes and bouldering rocks to more difficult projects. The Crag itself is a very special place in terms of landscape and you can easily spend a long time here. Access is possible via Villa de Arico or by car. Directly below the Crag is Base Camp Ortiz, a club and hostel for all climbing enthusiasts. To stay overnight you have to register in advance by telephone.
