"The documentation site includes the former alternative headquarters of the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia. This bunker, built during the Cold War, was intended to offer the state government the opportunity to manage civil defense in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Abandoned in the early 1990s and privately owned since 1997, the bunker has always been maintained and is now in a condition that no bunker of the same age in Germany can boast of. The technology still works today."
