Xanten - Römer und ein Wal im Dom
Heute sind wir zu dritt in Xanten gewesen. Zuerst hatten wir noch dicken Nebel. So haben wir den Rhein ganz toll erleben dürfen. Leider war die Südsee dann nicht so richtig zu sehen. Als wir dann im LVR-Römerpark angekommen sind, kam die Sonne in voller Pracht heraus. So konnten wir den wirklich sehenswerten Park richtig genießen. Der Höhepunkt danach war dann die lebensgroße Nachbildung eines gestrandeten Wales im Xantener Dom. Die Altstadt von Xanten ist zwar ziemlich klein, hat aber schöne Häuser zu bieten. Die Einkehr war in "Zur Börse". Auch das war eine gute Wahl.

Vrings-Veedel - Eine Mural-Wanderung
Wir sind am HBf gestartet. Mit vielen Schlenkern und wenig Murals sind wir zum Vrings-Veedel (Südstadt) gewandert. Dort angekommen konnten wir sehr viele Graffities und Murals sehen und bestaunen. Der Rückweg dann am Rheinauhafen zurück zum HBf. Unsere Einkehr war im Bierhaus in der Salzgasse, bei lecker Päffgen und gutem Essen haben wir dort die Wanderung ausklingen lassen. Höhen und Tiefen. Das alles war heute zu sehen. Und trotz KVB-Streik hat alles sehr gut funktioniert.
