Heimatlicher Aktionsradius: Rheinland, Bergisches Land, Eifel. Vorzugsweise Touren, die auch in annehmbarer Zeit mit Öffis von Köln aus erreichbar sind. Am Liebsten wandere ich alleine, ab und zu auch gerne mal in angenehmer Gesellschaft (keine Großgruppen). Geschwindigkeit und Höhenmeter? Zweitrangig! Im Vordergrund steht der Genuss.
Aus dem lächerlichen Punktesystem zur Erlangung fragwürdiger Pioniers- und Experten-Ehren habe ich mich bereits 2022 verabschiedet. Stattdessen schätze ich die Kommunikation mit Gleichgesinnten und die daraus entstehenden Kontakte.
Ich veröffentliche nicht jede Tour, sondern nur Touren mit einem gewissen Mehrwert für die Community. Mit ewig gleichen Hausrunden, Feierabend- oder Brötchenholtouren will ich niemanden langweilen 😉

Heute hatte ich wieder das Vergnügen mit Andrea eine Feierabendtour machen zu können. Ziel waren die, im nördlichen Teil von Mülheim, vorhandenen Murals mit besondere Gewichtung auf das Neue im Bürgerpark an der Berliner Straße. Gestartet sind wir am Dom um in Richtung Reinpark noch ein wenig Kunst zu besuchen, danach ging es am Rhein entlang bis zum Brunnen 'Mülheimia'. Von nun an kommen die Murals. Das neue Katzengemälde im Bürgerpark lohnt sich wirklich. Der Weg führte uns anschließend auch am 'I/D Cologne' vorbei, wo wir ein echtes gestalterisches Highlight entdecken durften. Ein Pausenplatz mit Stehlampen und ausgerolltem Teppich. Die anbrechende Dunkelheit passte dazu ideal. Eingekehrt sind wir am Ende im 'Palmengarten'. Alles passte wieder bei dieser abendlichen Tour.
