In the middle of the trees, a tower still rises above the treetops on the hill - the Dianaburg. In contrast to the Dianaburg in Darmstadt, the walls of this hunting lodge on the 412 m above sea level basalt hill of Kesselberg still exist.
The so-called "castle", more of a tower, was built in 1842/43.
The current cultural monument - owned by Johannes Graf von Oppersdorf-Solms-Braunfels - is open for visits on the first Sunday of every month from April to November.
