Mountain biking

The railway line of the former Ulmtalbahn - also known as the "Balkan Express" - was shut down in 1976 and dismantled in the 1990s. The route between Leun-Biskirchen and Greifenstein-Beilstein will be converted into an attractive cycle path in several sections from 2010 to 2017. In this way, our Hessian low mountain range can be experienced and enjoyed with little incline. Just shift down a gear!
