When you come to the large meadow shortly after the turning point from the west side and see the lake in all its splendor, including the Alps, you are literally enchanted! A must to sit in the meadow and enjoy the sight to the full!

Finding a daphne this late in the year is rare.

Beautiful view of the Alps over the large Ostersee (at the level of Gut Aiderbichl).
There are many beautiful views around the Osterseen, but here is perhaps the most beautiful view with the Alpine panorama in the background!

From here you have a very nice view of the Alps.

Below you can go swimming very nice and relatively lonely in summer. I fully agree with the comparison with Canada.
