The small town of Mohrin, built at the beginning of the 14th century, was surrounded by an existing city wall. The last of the formerly three gates, the Archipelago of the Sea Gate, was lost during or after the Second World War.

The place where the Mill Gate once stood, one of the two gates leading to the city. The gate was demolished in 1870, and the end of the walls was secured with brick pillars.
