A lot of history from 1873 onwards: the first dry cleaning business in Germany; the first factory workers' settlement in the Margraviate of Brandenburg; the first locomotives with overhead lines were tested on the railway line between Schöneweide and Spindlersfeld; the newest S-Bahn trains were also tested here for their suitability for everyday use.
