The church stands on a hill and was originally dedicated to Nicholas of Myra. The single-nave church with five-sided choir was rebuilt several times. The Romanesque church received a Gothic entrance and a gothic window. In 1810, the octagonal lantern on the tower was replaced by a narrowed spire and the tower rebuilt. In the tower hang two clocks from the 15th century.
