Beautiful dreamlike cycle path through the dune landscape

The Inselbahn cycle path between Kampen and List on Sylt offers a scenic bike ride through the island's dune landscape. This approximately 17 km long cycle path runs along the route of the former island railway, which gives it its name. The route starts in Kampen and leads past iconic sights such as the Uwe Dune and the Kampen Lighthouse. The path offers breathtaking views of the North Sea and the Wadden Sea, and the rolling hills of the dune landscape are particularly attractive. Before List, the cycle path crosses the main road and leads past the Lister Wanderdüne before ending in the charming Lister harbor, where there has also been a Ferris wheel since 2017. The cycle path is well signposted and is suitable for both recreational cyclists and families with children.
