Among German palaces, Bad Homburg Palace boasts a unique position: It is the only place where the last German emperors and empresses lived. The Hohenzollern family regularly used the former residence of the Landgraves of Hesse-Homburg for recreation, even during wartime. This cultural monument features historical exhibition rooms and a complex, epoch-spanning palace garden, which was once part of a unique garden kingdom: the Landgravial Garden Landscape.
