"An unexpected tribute to the celebrities of the 90s hiding in a corner of Ibiza:

DALT VILA IS THE walled old town of Eivissa, whose origins date back to pre-Roman times. It has a labyrinthine structure of narrow streets and picturesque squares. If, instead of climbing the steep slopes and stairs that lead to the highest point of the promontory where the cathedral is located, you stroll through the adjacent streets, you can find something hidden, often overlooked by tourists. A small exhibition reminiscent of Hollywood's Walk of Fame, but in this case it is a house wall on which some concrete slabs are hung with handprints (or footprints) of some celebrities, not only about cinema.

Many of the celebrities on the wall are from German-speaking countries. There are panels of Germans such as the singer Sandra Schwarzhaupt or the actor Fritz Wepper, the Swiss footballer Fritz Kün, who had his feet printed, the filmmaker Fritz E. Maeder, the Austrian actor Ulrich Reinthaller and the Dutch actress Frijda Nelly. There are also representatives of Spain such as the sculptor Miguel Ortiz Berrocal, the businessman Enrique Sarasola and the popular actress Penelope Cruz.

The origin of this concentration of celebrities is perhaps due to a local initiative and continued in the 1990s through a program on German television on the channel SAT1, hosted by Margarethe Schreinemakers, who reached an audience of millions every week between 1992 and 1996 with her talk show Schreinemakers Live. It seems that one of the activities of the show was to appear in Ibiza with these celebrities, many of whom are linked to the Balearic Islands, to leave their immortal prints."
