The sculpture Moss People is a work of art by Finnish sculptor Kim Simonsson. This sculpture series consists of figures that look like small people made of moss. The figures are hand-formed from stoneware, painted and then covered with a layer of nylon fiber to create an illusion of moss.
In Roubaix, one of these sculptures is located at the parvis of the Eurotéléport station. Simonsson's sculptures are often inspired by Nordic fairy tales and folklore, and they have a mysterious and fairytale-like appearance.
