The National Museum takes you on a journey through time from the 3rd millennium BC to the present day: the Dmanisi finds are exhibited here (the first people in Europe! 1.8 million years ago!), the Bronze Age of Colchis, the gold of Colchis (legend of the Golden Fleece!), glass and ceramics, weapons and wagons, pictures of the Qajar period and exhibits of Soviet Russian oppression. Highly recommended.
