After the last owner left the old castle in 1742, the stately home was located in the baroque manor house of the nearby manor. In 1862, the property passed to Commercial Councillor Carl Traugott Sieber. He replaced the old manor house with a mansard roof and ridge turret with a new villa-like building. A central projection and gable with battlements emphasized the entrance on the courtyard side. The interior was paneled with wood. The Sieber family owned the property until they were expropriated in 1945. In 1950, the manor house was transferred to the municipality, which set up several apartments in it. But since no one took care of its maintenance, the condition of the building deteriorated noticeably. The apartments were vacated and the roof collapsed. Today, an association is trying to rebuild the ruins of the manor house.
