Its total length is 95 kilometers - including all supply lines around 130 kilometers. This makes it the third longest in the entire Roman Empire. The "Roman canal", as it is called in the region, is one of the great engineering achievements of antiquity. The construction method and surveying technology amaze both laypeople and experts.
