This bridge is one of three covered wooden bridges from the 18th century in the Ravensburg district. Throughout Europe, however, such bridges can only be found sporadically in the foothills of the Alps and thus represent prominent cultural monuments.

Road cycling
Called Argenbrücke Föhlschmitten, it was built in 1790, as can be seen from the sign. It is apparently only used by pedestrians who know the area, is quite overgrown and is therefore hardly noticeable from the road if you are travelling quickly.
