The Holy Spirit Monastery is home to the congregation of the Servants of the Holy Spirit of Perpetual Adoration. The residents are also called the castle sisters or the 'pink sisters'. They owe the latter name to the color of the habit, which is pink.

The congregation was founded in 1896 by the German priest Arnoldus Janssen. Like other congregations founded by Arnoldus Janssen, the pink sisters are also committed to the mission: While fathers, brothers and sisters work in the mission, the closing sisters pray for God's blessing. They form the praying home front and open monasteries to invoke blessings on missionary work on site, together with joining natives.

The monastery is inhabited by about 30 sisters and is in excellent condition. The chapel has a visitors' area, the rest of the monastery is not accessible, but from Kloosterstraat you have a good view of the building.
