The castle was built shortly before 1854 on the site where a farm had previously been located. It was built in neoclassical style and shows strict symmetry. The front and rear facades are decorated with a triangular pediment.
The outbuildings include a caretaker's house and a coach house. This coach house was also converted into a home.
