    Wettolsheim is a charming wine village in Alsace, nestled at the foot of the vineyards and surrounded by forests and castles, just a few kilometres from Colmar. With its rich history dating back to Frankish times and its reputation as a producer of the renowned Grand Cru Steingrubler, it is a favourite spot for wine lovers. Visitors can enjoy the baroque parish church of Saint-Remi, a serene Lourdes grotto, and the ruins of the medieval castle of Hagueneck, hidden in the forest. Thanks to its location on the Route des Vins d’Alsace, Wettolsheim is also an ideal starting point for walks and explorations of the Alsatian countryside.

      Absolutely stunning and charming historical village! The buildings are not only beautiful, but also so well preserved. There's also so many wonderful restaurants, bakeries, and cafes to enjoy - it's an absolutely fantastic place to stop for a break.
