Especially in the first part to Orsoy there is a variety of landscapes with beautiful winding paths, a nice town (Orsoy) and a beautiful view of the Rhine (with industry, but you survive that). At the end a little more designed for cyclists. The Rheinweg cannot be used during floods

If you want to get from Walsum to Orsoy (or vice versa) you have several options: by car over one of the Rhine bridges or by ferry. The Rhine ferry Walsum has been transporting all car drivers, cyclists and walkers who want to save time, money and nerves with the “Glück Auf” since 1958.
