The Saint Martin is part of the route of the Grandes Alpes but is rather unknown. After the Bonette, many only have Nice's goal in mind. Wrong, because St.Martin is a very nice pass. From the west, out of the Tinée valley, it swings boldly and promisingly through a rock face up to Valdeblore, the Ostrampe leads with many serpentines from the village of St.Martin up to the pass. On the west side up to 12%, a bit flatter in the east, on the entire length good two lanes and 06/19 in good condition.
