Looking for a beautiful piece of nature? Then the Brechtse Heide is definitely something for you! The vast landscape is mainly characterized by a variety of meadows, forests and arable fields. You will also find fens and patches of heathland. The watershed that forms the border between the Meuse and Scheldt basins is located in this area. This protected landscape covers 1,726 hectares and extends over four municipalities: Brecht, Malle, Schilde and Zoersel. Several cycling and walking paths introduce you to the beautiful fauna and flora in this area.
